Registers of Scotland (RoS) is the government department responsible for keeping public registers of land, property, and other legal documents in Scotland.
RoS are the keepers of over 20 types of land register documents that are up to 400 years old. RoS needed to refactor a number of legacy digital products.
Moving to AWS serverless cloud, supported by AWS Professional Services (AWS ProServe) and deploying technologies like AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) and AWS Lambda, has enabled RoS to scale cost effectively, accelerate innovation and ultimately deliver a better user experience for Scottish citizens.
